Summer Rules

We are a no-alcohol and no profanity facility. We have far to many children playing and watching the races to allow this kind of behavior.

We will always try to race on saturday nites/afternoons, in the event of rain we will first try and race the day before or the day after, if the weather does not allow for this we will then re-schedule for the following week.

Summer Points Series

Our points series will begin Feb.2012. Please watch our web site for futher event schedules, www.callahanspeedway.net. Results and points will be posted on web site each week. Be aware of our track rules, ex. If you are black flaged in feature event, you will receive no points for the event. Etc….

Year End Awards....All class champions will get racing jacket (not leather) ,set of tires,and plaque or trophey. 2nd Place in the (3) classes with the highest kart average will get FREE Entry fee into (1) Points class at the GA/FL Maxxis Events for the 2013 Season.


Each Kart must weigh at the end of every heat race and at the end of the feature event in order to maintain finishing spot, If the driver and kart by pass the scales after the heat, or feature event he or she will be scored as DNW, "did not weigh", there will be only 1 exception to this, the driver and kart can weigh before the event only if he or she is running in 2 classes back to back.

Silver Plate- 265 lbs (16-66 Gear Rule)- BSP- EL TIRE RULE
Junior Box Stock Purple Plate- 265 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
Junior Unrestricted Clone- 320 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
BP Heavy- 375 lbs- MAXXIS TIRE RULE
Box Stock Lite- 325 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
Box Stock Medium- 350 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
Box Stock Heavy- 375 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
Box Stock Super Heavy- 400 lbs (Driver Weight Applies)- EL TIRE RULE
Box Stock Senior- 375 lbs- EL TIRE RULE
Pro Box Stock Heavy- 375 lbs- EL TIRE RULE- NON POINTS

Series Structure:
1. Points Class Entry Fee: $30.00 (If kart min not met 80% Payback.) Portion of entry fee goes to points.
2. Driver must run a points class to run Pro Classes
3. No drop races. Must run all 6 events to get year end awards.
4. Series will Maxxis Tire Rule Only.
5. Box Stock Classes MUST run Maxxis EL.
6. All Box Stock and BP classes will run by 2011 AKRA Engine Tech Rules Blue or Yellow Motors are LEGAL
7. Gate Fee: $10.00 (6 and Under Free)
8. No Awards at each event. Each event will pay money. 

To be eligible for end of points awards you must run ALL 6 events. If you have a DQ for the nite you will receive 0 points.
